Arsenal fans in Naivasha town are set to make waves this Sunday as they gather for a thanksgiving mass to pray for the health of one of their fellow supporters.

In an admirable display of unity and passion, attendees will don their Arsenal jerseys and come together in prayer at St. Francis Xavier Church, located in the town center.

The Arsenal Kenya Supporters Club, an official arm of the globally renowned English football club, has been rapidly growing in prominence since its inception in October 2010.

From humble beginnings at their inaugural meeting at Club Red Carpet, the club has expanded to accommodate multiple branches in cities such as Nairobi, Naivasha, Mombasa, and Eldoret.

As of 2017, the club’s website reported a membership count of over 300 registered members. But it is not just about football for these supporters. The group is deeply involved in charity work, orchestrating tournaments, and launching various community development projects.

“Arsenal Kenya Naivasha branch will have group's thanksgiving Day on October 15, 2023, at Naivasha Catholic Church.

It will also be a Thanksgiving Mass for one of the members who has been unwell for quite some time, but recuperating well. Karibuni sana this coming Sunday," a post on X declared.

One of the high points for the group is its recognition by Arsenal's main club in London.

The club has a dedicated banner space reserved for the Arsenal Kenya Supporters Club at the iconic Emirates Stadium, a testament to the Kenyan branch's significant contribution to the Arsenal global fan community.

As the English Premier League progresses, Arsenal's performance has been nothing short of impressive. Seated comfortably in the second spot with 20 points from just eight matches, they have given their fans a lot to cheer for.
