Steve Round, Mikel Arteta's assistant, has voluntarily left Arsenal after four years, according to reports from the club.
With Arteta's hiring in 2019, Round joined the coaching crew and he was acknowledged as being a major factor in the club's revival.

Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson signs new long term deal
Reiss Nelson, Arsenal forward has penned a new contract with the Gunners after several months of negotiations.
The email reads as reported by The Mirror, "As preparations for the new men’s season get underway we can confirm Steve Round has left the club by mutual agreement.
“Steve joined the club as part of our new coaching staff in December 2019 when Mikel started his role as Head Coach.
"During his time with us, Steve played an integral role in working with our men’s first team players and helping the significant progress which we have made in recent seasons.
“We thank Steve for his contribution to Arsenal Football Club and wish him and his family all the best of health and happiness."
Charles Watts on Twitter also confirmed the news, saying, “It is understood that Steve Round has left Arsenal. He has been Arteta's assistant since his appointment in 2019.
“The decision has been taken by mutual agreement and announced to club staff.”
Albert Stuivenberg to replace Round
The Mirror reports that it is believed that Round's function has been diminished recently and that Albert Stuivenberg will continue to serve as the assistant.
Whether or not the empty position will be filled by a replacement has not yet been made clear.

Arteta first met Round during his playing days at Everton, where he was serving under David Moyes.
In addition to working at Arsenal, he has also held technical director positions at Manchester United, Newcastle, and Aston Villa.
The Gunners will be without Steve Round as the assistant coach as they prepare ahead for the new season.
