Sunday's 1-1 draw in Ikenne saw Remo Stars drop to fourth place in Group A, with Enyimba and Akwa United moving into the qualification places.
Remo Stars defender Ifeanyi Anaemena has revealed that he is optimistic about his team's chances of qualifying for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Super 6 play-off.
Remo Stars' bid for a place in the Super 6 playoff was derailed by a bit on Sunday, as Group A leaders Bendel Insurance, held them to a 1-1 draw at the Remo Stars Stadium.

How 'careless' Remo Stars paid price for wastefulness
Ikenne-based Remo Stars have managed just an average of 0.71 goals per game in the 2023 abridged NPFL season.
Remo Stars had opened the scoring in the 16th minute through Kwame Mawuena, but an equalizer from Divine Nwachukwu four minutes later, denied the Sky Blue Stars all three points.
The dream is still intact, Anaemena says
According to Anaemena, his teammates must take risks if they want to achieve their objective of making the playoffs.
“The dream is still intact. We are confident of making it to the Super Six,” the defender said as earlier reported by the Daily Post.
“We failed to take our chances against Bendel Insurance and hopefully in our subsequent matches we will work on that so as to continue our push for the playoff spot,” he added.
