The Brazilian legend passed away in a São Paulo, Brazil, hospital, having won three FIFA World Cup trophies and scored 1,279 goals in 1,363 games.

Ronaldo said, “The mark that I can have in football is to reach first 900 goals, after my challenge is to reach 1000 goals. All the goals that I scored, they have video, so can prove that.”
Ferdinand then mentioned Pele, who scored more than 1000 career goals and Ronaldo replied, “I respect all of them but my goals have certification.
“If you want more goals, I can bring from the training too so no problem. All my goals have video and I will prove to the people after.”
