Amus College is an invited guest to the tournament that takes place from July 22nd to 31st in Rabat, Morocco.

Amus College is the most on-form of the three schools representing Uganda at this year’s ISF World Schools Football Championships.

The school from Bukedea District is an invited guest to the tournament that takes place from July 22nd to 31st in Rabat, Morocco.

They will take part in the boys’ tournament alongside Kibuli SS, who won last year’s East Africa games, while St. Noa represents the girls’

Amus College, coached by Nimrod Kintu, will head to North Africa as the best-ranked team, having reached the semifinals of the National Secondary Schools Football Championships.

“We want to carry our form from the nationals to do better there as we prepare for the East Africa games,” the renowned coach told Pulse Sports.

“For now, the team is conducting internal training as we follow our plans ahead of the games. That said, the boys are well-motivated and fired up to represent their country at the world level, something that is also huge in their careers,” Kintu added.

Amus College has been pooled in Group A alongside representatives from France, China and Nepal.

They also qualified for the East Africa games for the first time in their history.
