Okello has reportedly endured discomfort and pain in his knee for over two years, dating back to his first stint at AC Paradou.
He was loaned out to KCCA last season and managed to contribute eight league assists and five goals before the expiry of his short stint at Lugogo.
Okello broke onto the scene at KCCA FC under Mike Mutebi and made his debut in 2017.

FOOTBALL Uganda Cranes defender safe after experiencing earthquake in Morocco
Mugabi started for Uganda in the 2-0 win over Niger in Marrakech and was one of the Cranes players waiting to connect back to his club by the time of the earthquake.
His debut came in February 2017, and he scored a hattrick against Onduparaka FC in a 7-1 win for the Kasasiro Boys.
He then moved to the Algerian outfit on a four-year deal but was loaned back to KCCA last season.
