While he has yet to pick a first victory with the seven-time Uganda Premier League champions, Isabirye is a serial winner who just last season clinched a domestic double with Vipers SC.
It's been over two weeks since Alex Isabirye took over at Express FC as the new head coach after the club parted ways with James Odoch.
The Red Eagles have lost twice since Odoch's sacking and sit eighth with just 13 points in eleven matches.
And, Isabirye, who reports indicated he's on a one-month contract, has called for more to impart his beliefs and style of play to the team.
"Every coach has a style and belief. To teach your players how you want them to play is not easy, and it needs time," he told the Pitchside Podcast.
"I'm trying to get into their heads, working on the mental side of the players as the character and attitude wasn't good, so I'm only focusing on that, and we shall get results," he added.

"I always tell my players that I only think about three points. I don't think about anything else, so I'm trying to teach them how to get three points."

FOOTBALL Cissy Nantongo: She Corporate star breaking barriers, opens own brand - CN18
The one-time FUFA Women's Super League champion intends to spread to her audience and the wider football fanbase with a touch of the CN18 marque.
"It's a short time, no time for training, no time to make sure these players learn what we want, but we shall try our level best that we win, get the results," he expressed optimism.
"It hasn't been easy getting points; we lost to SC Villa (2-1), to Kitara (1-0). We still have a long way to go, but when I look at the players, they are eager to learn, and we shall reach there."

Isabirye went on to reveal how the decision to join Express was a relatively easy one to make, given his history with the club.
"I was a player here, so when the officials approached me, as a football coach who was home seated, I decided to come and do the job.
Express visit fourth-placed NEC FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Wednesday and Isabirye will be keen on picking the first victory at the club.
