He was a crucial player in Kano Pillars' 2009/10 NPFL title-winning season, where he emerged as the top scorer in the League.
In 2020, he returned to the league, and his decision was a significant move that marked a new chapter in his illustrious career. After spending a decade playing in Europe and Asia, the Nigerian forward chose to reconnect with his roots and contribute to the development of the domestic league.
