Ahmed Musa rubbishes hate for AFCON inclusion
Ahmed Musa, who has 108 matches under his belt, is currently Nigeria's most-capped player, a testament to his successful international career and lengthy commitment to the country.
His selection for the Super Eagles for the past two years has raised concerns about whether or not younger, more worthy forwards are being passed over.
Since then, Nigerians have expressed their dissatisfaction and frustration on social media sites through comments and memes.
Many of them have advocated for the inclusion of young players like Moffi, who is based in Ligue 1, rather than Musa, who is Nigeria's top scorer at the FIFA World Cup.
Musa took to his official social media platforms hours after the list to go give his thoughts on hate.
Along with a casual video was a message from Musa that said, "Let no man pull you low enough to hate him."
