"Ethiopia is a good team that cannot be undermined. We know how they play and use the ball well. So we must be at our best to get a good result over them.”

Following a one-all draw against Tanzania in their first game, Uganda return to action against Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday.

While the Queen Cranes will be keen on picking maximum points, head coach Sheryl Botes wants her team to take note and deal with their opponent's biggest threat on the evening.

"Ethiopia is a good team that cannot be undermined. We know how they play and use the ball well. So we must be at our best to get a good result over them.”

“(But), the players are ready for the second game at this tournament. I believe we have tried to work and address areas we feel were lacking against Tanzania and hoping for a good result against Ethiopia,” she added.

Victory for Uganda will set them on a clear path to making the semifinals of the tournament.

Against the Tanzanians over the weekend, Margret Kunihira scored for Uganda but Aisha Juma Mnuka denied the Queen Cranes all points with a late goal.

Meanwhile, host Ghana will take on Tanzania in the other Group A tie today at Cape Coast.
