The Group L qualifier between the Cheetahs and Rwanda’s Amavubi produced the fire works, with Rwanda nearly running away from the game that was mirred with pre-match drama as it had to be moved from Rwanda’s Huye to Cottonou in Benin with a little over 48 hours to kick off.

The Amavubi were second best to Benin for much of the game, but they carried the threat early on, Meddie Kagere missing from close range, shortly before Gilbert Mugisha broke the deadlock after 13 minutes.
The woodwork then came to the Benin’s rescue on the half-hour mark when Kevin Muhire struck the crossbar from inside the penalty area.
Carlos Alos' Amavubi had to play the final 30 minutes with just 10 men after Hakim Sahabo received his marching orders for picking up a second yellow card.
But Gernot Rohr's side went on to boss proceedings and wasted numerous opportunities before Steve Mounie eventually restored parity eight minutes from time.
The result leaves Rwanda (two points) and Benin (one point) in third and fourth place respectively in Group L. The leading duo of Senegal (six points) and Mozambique (four points) will meet in Dakar on Friday.
Meanwhile, in Agadir, Sierra Leone came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw with Sao Tome and Principe.
Luis Leal scored both goals for Sao Tome, but Mustapha Bundu and Abu Komeh found the back of the net for Sierra Leone to ensure they left with a point.
Despite the draw, Sao Tome remained bottom of Group A, while Sierra Leone moved into third place with two points.
The qualifiers continue on Thursday with six matches, including Ghana vs. Angola, Algeria vs. Niger, and Gabon vs. Sudan.
