Kwara United also known as Afonja Warriors defeated ABS to the state FA Cup title.
NPFL side Kwara United are the Champions of the 2023 Kwara State FA Cup and celebrated with a royal visit.
The Afonja Warriors were guests to the Emir of Ilorin after seeing off rivals ABS on Thursday afternoon.
United defeated ABS 4-2 via penalty shootout to emerge winners at the Kwara Football Academy pitch, Ilorin.

Following the win over ABS, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari to present the FA Cup title.
The Afonja Warriors were led by the technical crew and staff as they were duly welcomed to the Palace of the Emir and club's Grand Patron.
Speaking during the visit, the Emir had some kind words for the Warriors, who he wished well and blessed.
"I always pray to hear the name of the club," Emir Sulu Gambari stated. "I also pray that every one of you will play abroad," he added.
United switch focus to NPFL
After the FA Cup win, Kwara United will switch focus to the NPFL which is set to return next week following the mid-season break.
Kwara United have had a slow start to the season which saw them head to the break seated eighth on the table.
The Afonja Warriors won only two of their opening nine matches in the first half of the season and will be hoping to improve on that performance when the league resumes.
