Nigeria’s Super Eagles fixtures for the upcoming 2023 Africa Nations Cup tournament have been revealed after the draw for the group stage was done in Ivory Coast on Thursday.

The Super Eagles were drawn alongside hosts Ivory Coast in Group A which also features Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau as they look to win the AFCON trophy for the first time since 2013.

Following the draw, CAF released the fixture list for the group stages, which will see Nigeria open the tournament with a tie against the Elephants of Equatorial Guinea.
According to the schedule, Nigeria will then play the hosts, Ivory Coast, in their second group game before finishing off the first round against Guinea Bissau.

Nigeria were handed a tricky draw in the group stages, leading many to question the Super Eagles' credentials ahead of the 2023 AFCON, but most still believe that the sixth-highest-rated side on the continent.
