Ingwe risk a legal battle with Mafro Sports over the outstanding balance.
AFC Leopards patron Alex Muteshi has confessed that the club is unable to pay Mafro Sports the outstanding USD 32,000 balance owed to the kit manufacturer owing to financial struggles.
The Singaporian kit manufacturer issued the 13-time Kenya Premier League champions with a demand letter last week in a bid to pressure Ingwe to clear the arrears but it seems their pleas have hit a snag if Muteshi's revelation can be believed.

Singaporean sportswear maker threatens to cancel kit deal with AFC Leopards over delayed payment
The club has been using last season’s kits on matchday and Umbro kits from the previous season for training.
"I have advised Mafro to bring the jerseys and replica and sell them, they will get their money in two months. We as a club are struggling financially and it is something I had already disclosed to Mafro," Muteshi said as reported by SportsBoom.
Ingwe risk a legal battle with Mafro Sports over the outstanding balance and warehouse fee after the deadline to pay half of the arrears elapsed on November 11. Mafro have accused AFC Leopards of failing to honor their part of the contract and want the stalemate resolved immediately or the two parties meet in court.
It has been revealed that the club has already issued a notice to the playing unit, technical staff and the secretariat that they are going to receive only parts of their October salaries.
