One time Football Kenya Federation Premier League champions Sofapaka FC have announced Jacob Adiss Panoam as the player of the month for April.
The South Sudan international won the award after his impressive showings for the Batoto Ba Mungu’s two wins of their seven fixtures last month.
The defender-cum-striker received 99% of the votes of total votes from the technical bench and teammates.
Panoam has shown resilience and a dash of class in his position at Sofapaka by creating goals and assisting in attacks since his return from the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The African football official received a 10-year ban for breaching FIFA’s code of ethics.
Panoam takes the award from former Migori Youth attacker Ben Stanely Omondi who was crowned in February. Omondi won his award for his impressive showing scoring two goals in the process.
The 18-year-old Panoam joined Sofapaka in January, directly after completing his education at Dagoretti High School.
Sofapaka is currently placed 12th on the league standings with 31 points from 27 matches played this season.
The Batoto ba Mungu will next take on Kariobangi on Sunday at the Kasarani Annex match as they continue fighting for a top-nine finish.
