Days after terming the Uganda Premier League a "prison of judgment" following his departure from Vipers SC, winger Abdu Lumala has backed the team on their tie with rivals KCCA FC slated for Friday.
In a story he posted on Snapchat on Monday, Lumala disclosed his regrets of returning to play in the UPL, attracting backlash from Vipers and the local football faithful.
However, Lumala has displayed a show of support for the Venoms ahead of the St. Mary's Stadium, Kitende bout.
"This Friday, let’s go boys #venoms," the 26-year-old took to Facebook last night.

Lumala exited the Kitende-based side after 20 league appearances across one-and-a-half seasons, where he won both the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup trophies.
Meanwhile, the tie between Vipers and KCCA is boiling to what promises mouthwatering action between two of the most successful sides in the country over the past decade.
