Erling Haaland made Thierry Henry blush after proving he is the most lethal striker at the moment with a five-star performance against RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
It was a case of 'real recognises real' after Manchester City’s Erling Haaland paid a glowing tribute to Premier legend Thierry Henry.
This happened moments after the Norwegian striker inspired Manchester City to the quarterfinal of the Champions League on a remarkable night at the Etihad.
Why Manchester City signed Erling Haaland
Haaland made history after he scored five goals to lead City to a 7-0 win over RB Leipzig during their Champions League round of 16 second leg match.
The English champions booked their passage to the last eight with an easy 8-1 aggregate victory to send the German side packing.

What Thierry Henry said about a Premier League striker
Following his remarkable performance against Leipzig, Haaland spoke to the CBS Sports Champions League crew led by former Premier League and Arsenal star, Henry.
Reacting to a question on what it feels like to score five goals from the presenter, Haaland started with words of praise for the Arsenal legend, who stood beside him.
“It is an amazing feeling,” Haaland said before turning to Henry to add, “I think you are the only one that knows how to score a lot of goals.”
