1. Manchester United vs Arsenal

After the game, the referee apologized for the incident after taking a closer look. United won the game by 3-1 and the damage had already been done.
2. Southampton vs Arsenal
A mystery bird had distracted Aaron Ramsdale before the Saints equalized through Stuart Armstrong. Granit Xhaka had put the Londonners in the first half.
In a video posted on Premier League’s Twitter account, the pigeon was spotted close to Ramsdale in the build up to Southampton’s equalizer. The match ended 1-1 and it would have been a 1-0 win.
3. Arsenal vs Brentford
Mikel Arteta’s men were hard done by when Ivan Toney’s goal was given despite the replay showing that there was an offside in the build.
Referee in charge of the VAR did not do his job properly and former Premier League referee Dermott Gallagher admitted his colleague made an error not to have spotted the call. It ended 1-1 as Arsenal were denied another three points.
4. Everton vs Arsenal
It was Sean Dyche’s first game in charge at Goodison Park after Frank Lampard was relieved of his duties. The energy the Toffees had in that game was unbelievable.
Everton lost the first leg by 4-0 but spectacularly won the game against the leader courtesy of a James Tarkowski 60th minute header which proved to be the winner.

5. Three consecutive draws against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton
Arsenal lost grip on the title in the month of April as they were held by away at Liverpool and West Ham and shared the spoils against Southampton at the Emirates.
The Gunners led at Anfield but the Reds came back to play a 2-2 draw likewise the Hammers who found their way back from 2-0 into their match at the London Stadium to earn a point.
