According to Pruzzo, a reliable source from Osimhen’s entourage has confirmed that a move to Turin is all but sealed.

Osimhen reportedly set for Juventus switch

Osimhen, who remains under contract with Napoli, has been spending the season on loan at Galatasaray after failed negotiations with PSG, Chelsea, and Al-Ahli over a permanent move last summer.

Victor Osimhen led the Naija Stars Abroad.

Despite extending his contract with Napoli in 2023, his release clause, which initially stood at €130 million, is set to drop to €75 million at the end of the season, making him an attractive prospect for Europe’s top clubs.

Italian media has repeatedly linked Juventus with a move for the 2022/23 Capocannoniere winner, and Pruzzo’s recent claim has only added fuel to the fire.

Speaking on Radio Radio via Sport Mediaset, the former Roma striker revealed, “I know that Juventus’ next striker will be Osimhen. A reliable source close to the Nigerian’s entourage revealed it to me in Florence. They are certain they will be going to Turin next year.”

Who is Roberto Pruzzo?

At 69, Roberto Pruzzo is a respected voice in Italian football. A Serie A top scorer three times (1980–81, 1981–82, and 1985–86), he remains one of the league’s most iconic goal-scorers.

Having spent the majority of his career at Roma, where he won the 1982-83 Scudetto, Pruzzo is well-connected in the football world.

The former striker also won four Copa Italia titles with the Gialorossi between 1979 and 1986, and was named in the Roma Hall of Fame in 2012.

His claim about Osimhen’s impending move to Juventus is significant, especially given the striker’s ongoing contract situation with Napoli. If the deal materialises, it would mark one of the biggest transfers within Serie A in recent years.
