The talented 24-year-old left winger was in his element again at the weekend, inspiring his side Genk to a brilliant 3-2 win against Cercle Brugge.
Sor was involved in all the goals, netting the opener in the first minute of the game before contributing to the second and third in either half.
The third goal was a Nigerian affair, as Sor provided the ammunition for giant compatriot and former Naija Stars Abroad Player of the Week, Toluwase Arokodare, to score his fifth goal of the season in just six appearances.
For Sor, the goal was his first of the season, while the assists took his tally to four in six matches for Genk.
His impressive stats for the match include:
- 1 goal
- 2 assists
- 4 chances created
- 2 big chances created
- 2 key passes
- 2 completed dribbles
Despite not yet playing for the Super Eagles, Sor is knocking seriously on the door of the national team.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, however, by Super Eagles followers as he was named one of the stars in the latest edition of Naija Stars Abroad, a magazine that reviews performances of Nigerian and Super Eagles players around the world.
As Sor continues to impress in Belgium, fans and Super Eagles selectors led by Augustine Eguavoen will be keeping a close eye on this rising star, who could soon be making his mark on the international stage for Nigeria.
