Arsenal goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri joins Finnish first-division club SJK Seinajoki on loan.
Arsenal goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri will spend the rest of the season on loan at Finnish top-division side SJK Seinajoki.
The 19-year-old spent the first half of the season at Chelmsford City in the National League South where he impressed in the English lower leagues.
Ejeheri was great for Chelmsford where he made 23 appearances but is now thought to have outgrown that level which is why he is being loaned out to SJK Seinajoki for the rest of the season in search of top-division first-team experience.

Ejeheri was recalled from his loan spell with Chelmsford where he played 23 games, two of which were in the FA Cup against Barnet.
The 19-year-old started 21 of the 24 league games he was available for at Chelsmford, establishing himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.
Ejeheri managed 11 clean sheets and conceded just 17 goals in those 21 games to help the team up to fifth on the National League South table.
His performances attracted SJK Seinajoki in the Finnish Veikkausliiga who are just about to start their 2023 season.
SJK finished sixth on the table in the 2022 season which offers Ejeheri the chance to play for a mid-table team in the top flight as opposed to Chelmsford in the sixth tier of English football.
Ejeheri started his career with Arsenal youth in the academy after which he moved to the under-18s in 2019 and has since featured for the under-21s and under-23s before joining Chelmsford City.
