The local heavyweights depended on a thin squad but went on to beat the Dockers on Wednesday.
AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems has revealed the biggest problem he faced during the Football Kenya Federation Premier League match against Bandari.
Ingwe managed to win – courtesy of Ojo Olaniyi’s goal from a tight angle – to move third on the table.
They are now just a point behind second-placed Tusker – who also won their midweek match against Bidco United – and seven points below league leaders Gor Mahia.
After the hard-fought win, Aussems revealed he had an acute shortage of manpower to face the Dockers at Nyayo Stadium.
"My usual number one goalkeeper was out, three players were injured, one player was suspended, one was on national team duty, and only five players were on the bench," the former AC Leopards and Simba SC head coach said.
