The Law Enforcers made the sarcastic comment about the Soldiers, who have no players in Harambee Stars’ camp.
Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Kenya Police FC took a jibe against their opponents Ulinzi Stars over the composition of Harambee Stars.
Police are the most represented side in the Harambee Stars squad named by head coach Engin Firat, while Ulinzi do not have a single player.
While congratulating their players on the national team call-ups, the Law Enforcers described Ulinzi as the ‘ball boys’.
None of the Police players have been dropped even after Firat named his final squad for the Iran friendly. The match has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 28.
A recent Police signing from Tusker, Patrick Matasi, has retained his slot in the final squad, along with Aboud Omar, Duke Abuya, Alvin Mang'eni, and Elvis Rupia.
Rupia – who has scored 14 goals in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League – has been retained while his Golden Boot competitor Benson Omala of Gor Mahia who has 19 goals has been dropped.
When the league resumes, fans expect an entertaining second round as Gor Mahia, KCB, Tusker, Police, AFC Leopards, and even Nzoia Sugar are expected to return to the title race with renewed energy.
