The prolific scorer has turned down overtures from the league giants.
Kenya Police FC have reportedly completed the signing of former KCB attacker Derrick Otanga with Sofapaka announcing the signings of Rodgers Okumu and Simon Abuko.
The former Sony Sugar FC striker had attracted huge interest from Tusker and Gor Mahia, but he has chosen to sign for the Law Enforcers.
Gor Mahia are yet to get their transfer ban lifted, although the local heavyweights expect the sanction to be lifted soon.
Meanwhile, the 2021-2022 league top scorer had left Al-Ittihad Misurata of Libya and has completed the Police move as a free agent.
Patrick Matasi
Police have also intensified their pursuit of Patrick Matasi after they was linked with Farouk Shikalo in recent days. Matasi – a former Posta Rangers and St George FC custodian– is currently the number one goalkeeping choice for Tusker.
Ogola & Opoku
Elsewhere, Mathare United are set to resign former Kakamega Homeboyz defender Norman Ogola. Meanwhile, Ghanaian defender Stephen Opoku has left Homeboyz after his contract with the Kakamega-based outfit came to an end.
Titus Achesa
Titus Achesa is set to leave Sofapaka and rejoin Premier League rivals Posta Rangers.
Abuko & Okumu
On the other hand, Batoto ba Mungu have completed the signing of Simon Abuko and Rodgers Okumu.
Oduor & Ojunga
Robert Matano’s Tusker are eager to complete the signings of Michael Oduor and Geoffrey Ojunga.
Mwangi & Juma
The Brewers had expressed interest in Joseph Mwangi and Kevin Juma – who is also on the radar of Ulinzi Stars – although both are currently contracted with Nzoia Sugar.
Ulinzi hope to lure Juma to their side by offering him a chance to join the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).
