What is the Infected game-mode on Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare?
Introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the Infected game mode sees 18 players spawned randomly throughout the map with a weapon in hand while one player spawns as the infected.
Armed only with knives and a tactical insertion, the infected player’s goal is to infect all the other players by attacking them before the timer runs out.
The frenzied game mode would make a great addition to Infinity Ward's latest release and could help ease the pain for players still sulking over the news that Gunfight isn’t returning to Modern Warfare 2.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
