CRICKET Poor pitch conditions curtail NPCA T20 top four playoffs as Cutchi Leva, Swamibapa show great form
Teams in the Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association T20 Super Division have an extra week to train after heavy rains forced the postponement of the eliminators and qualifier playoffs.
"We have a very good young side and with Rakep Patel's comeback from injury layoff, I don’t think we should have anything to worry about,” said Gondaria.
"Though we are all working equally hard, we just expect our hard work to pay off but I can assure that we are going to give everything to win this title. Rakep was back in the previous game but unfortunately, Vinod Rabadia is injured."
Kanbis are expected to line-up opener Narendra Patel, Pushpak Kerai and Gondaria in the top order with Sachin Bhudiya, Patel and Nelson Mandela Odhiambo occupying the middle order.

CRICKET Cricket Kenya Under-19 team lands Ksh4.2 million sponsorship deal
Cricket Kenya Under-19 team has landed a Ksh4.2 million sponsorship deal ahead of their Tri-series event scheduled for Uganda.
Meanwhile, Swamibapa will have their hopes hinged on captain Rushabh Patel and the likes of Dhwanil Patel and veteran Maurice Ouma.
"I don’t think we will make any changes in the team which played Swamibapa last week. We are not taking SCLPS any lighter as they were leading the points table which shows they are a very strong opponent,” said Stray Lions chairman Thota Sreenivas, whose side qualified second behind Cutch Leva in the NPCA Super Division.
"We will not experiment with anything as our team is doing good and we want to continue with the winning momentum as all the players are settled in their line-up.

CRICKET Stray Lions secure their place in NCPA T20 League last four after good outing
Stray Lions managed a seven-wicket win over Obuya Cricket Academy A to maintain their top spot and seal an early place into the last four of the NPCA Twenty20 League.
"We are expecting to have a good game irrespective of whoever wins. T20 is a game anyone can win. We give our best to win the game to reach finals comfortably rather than playing again in a second qualifier," added Thota, whose team lost to Swamibapa last weekend.
Cutchi Leva, who topped the NPCA T20 log, will put their hopes on Niraj Patel, Sumit Halai, opener Manish Kerai, Ravi Rabadia (wk) and Darsh Panchani among others.
The usual suspects in Stray Lions’ line-up are Irfan Karim (wk), Shubham Jadav, Neil Mugabe, Aman Gandhi and Indian professional Bhagath Varma.
