Again! 3 Nigerian Boxers qualify for Paris 2024
Three Nigerian boxers joined Cynthia Ogunsemilore, who earlier claimed to have booked their spots at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Meanwhile, the Ogun state government has the Ogun Boxing Hall of Fame championship was touted as an excellent platform for preparing the state's athletes for the next National Sports Festival as well as discovering fresh talents that will be groomed to replace the state's aged boxers.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youths and Sports, Dr. Qudus Yusuf noted that the competition was also being utilized to test run facilities for the Games' hosting in 2024.
He expressed confidence in the state's willingness to prepare its athletes with a series of events to keep them in condition, as well as to provide the necessary facilities for the festival's successful hosting next year.
