“My future plan is to meet Milel Ali…I am eager to meet that lady. The reason why I want to meet her is because she is the current champion and I am not willing to see her rule while I am still around,” Achieng told Citizen Sport.
Before she took a break from professional boxing, she had managed to win 17 bouts out of all the 27 she had competed in. She lost only six and managed four draws.
As she was making headlines as one of the greatest boxers Kenya has ever had, she went under the radar for a while.
