National Super Middleweight champion Shadir Musa Bwogi will defend his title against Kenny Lukyamuzi, aka 'Da Mexico', in a title fight slated for September 30 at New Obligatto in Kampala.
In a fight night dubbed "Sweet Science Season 1", Bwogi and Lukyamuzi will be the main fight.
Bwogi noted that he is not intimidated by Lukyamuzi's experience in the ring.
"Defeating Kenny Da Mexico will not be a headline item. However, Kenny getting victory over me will be a big deal," he said before adding.
"He may be older than me, but I am the master and promise to teach him. I am the best in this game, and he should expect fireworks because it's a birthday party."
At the same time, Lukyamuzi promised to overcome Bwogi, whom he described as a young man undeserving of the belt.
"I am going to teach Bwogi how it is done in professional boxing. He is just a kid and won't be able to last ten rounds with me. He will kiss the canvas," he stated.
