Boxing legend Mike Tyson has opened up about his most famous spending spree when the veteran boxer splashed almost Ksh650 million in one week during his heydays.
American boxing legend Mike Tyson has revealed intriguing details of spending $5 million (Ksh647,950,000) at the height of his boxing career.
Tyson, who made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimel Live show in the build up his bout with YouTuber turned Boxer Jake Paul, humorously shared details of the one time he spent the lofty amount in just a couple of days.
The boxer was questioned by Jimmy Kimmel on his claim that he didn’t want a lot of money because when he does, a lot of bad things happen.
“I was a different person back then. Five million dollars would go in a couple of days,” revealed Tyson.
Tyson was, however, quick to defend his hefty spending spree, saying he was young and didn’t regret it.
“It’s not as much now but when I was young kid five million dollars would go in days. I never regretted it. I had such a great time.”

The bout is Tyson’s second competitive match since getting back into the ring back in November 2024 when he took on fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Junior
