Kehinde Babatunde Oladipo talks about representing Nigeria in 2 new songs after scoring 26 points in the Miami Heat win.
American professional basketball player of Nigerian descent Babatunde Victor Oladipo put in a masterful performance in the NBA.
Oladipo was the star on the court as the Miami Heat recorded a 104-96 victory against the Miami Heat in an NBA regular fixture that took place in the early hours of Saturday, January 7, 2023.
Oladipo came off the bench to spark the Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry off the floor.
The 30-year-old Oladipo recorded 26 points, two assists, and two steals in a total of 34 minutes of action.
He made seven of 10 shots, including four of six from the three-point line and eight of 10 free throws.

After the game, Oladipo gave an assessment of the Miami Heat this season with a 21-19 record and eighth on the Eastern Conference standings.

Last season Oladipo and the Miami Heat advanced to the Eastern Conference finals last year and are struggling this season.
Speaking on their season he said, "Rome wasn't building the day you know. This is a new team believe it or not.
"We have a lot of guys back but it's a new team and new structure it takes time we've had guys in and out of the lineup.
"So it was just a process man we gotta trust our process you know this is a different year obviously this is our team this year we got to trust each other and just keep building."
Oladipo on Surgeries
Oladipo had two surgeries before the start of last season and after the performance against the Suns gave an update on his recovery.
He said, "I've been through a lot obviously you know just a testimony to my faith my family, my friends, everybody.

"Throughout the process, the Miami Heat believed in me even after two surgeries. Just got to keep pushing man keep grinding and see."
Oladipo on Nigerian afro-beats music
Oladipo is also a recording artist and gave an update on his work in the studio.
He revealed that he has released two songs recently in line with his Nigerian afro beats culture.
Oladipo added, "I'm just you know representing from my culture you know I'm Nigerian of Nigerian descent through and through runs through my blood so a little afro-b.
"Hopefully people like it it's coming out soon I got two singles out already so go check me out it's everywhere."
Oladipo returns to action with the Miami Heat when they take on the Brooklyn Nets in their next matchup scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2023.
