Buddy Hield is joining the Golden State Warriors in a sign-and-trade deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to sign Buddy Hield to a three-year contract worth $21 million, with a player option for a non-guaranteed fourth year.

The deal includes a $3 million partial guarantee for the 2026-27 season.

The Warriors will also send a 2031 second-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers, which was originally acquired from the Dallas Mavericks in the Klay Thompson sign-and-trade.

By pairing Hield with Stephen Curry, the Warriors will now have the top two 3-point scorers over the past five seasons.

Hield, a 40% career 3-point shooter, will help fill the void left by Thompson's departure. The Warriors have also signed De'Anthony Melton and Kyle Anderson, adding versatility to their roster.
