Majok struck a superb double-double when it mattered most, sinking in 17 points and topping that up with 10 rebounds in the Elite 16 clash to help the Kenya Basketball Federation league defending champions realise their life-long dream.
"This is why I came here. I came here to help the organization make history for Kenyan basketball by qualifying for the BAL," Majok told Telecomasia. The burley player, who is of South Sudan origin, added: "We have done it and I am so proud of the effort we have put in. We have been locked in straight from the first game till now where we won a crucial game, and I am glad I came here."

Kenya's City Thunder will take on Africa's elite basketball teams in the Basketball Africa League set to go down in Nairobi.
Majok was signed by the Kenyan champions just before the Elite 16 stage of the qualifiers, to aid in their bid and he delivered rightly. The six foot 10 power forward says the work is not yet done, as they have to ensure they finish off the competition in style, when they face Kriol Stars of Cape Verde in the final.
Both sides have qualified for the BAL and will be playing for pride and the trophy.
