Silverbacks and City Oilers forward Titus Lual has revealed that this season with the Oilers has been a learning experience as his side chases a ninth consecutive NBL title.
Lual has been sublime for his side this season, averaging 12.7 PPG and 10.8 RPG as the Oilers are now 20-0 and favourites to finish the regular season unbeaten.
"This season has been more of a learning one as there is so much talent and experience around me, which will make me a better player," he told Pulse Sports.
"I don't think we ever set a target of going the season unbeaten, but we have the ambition of getting better each game, which has translated to victories."
Lual also added: "We have a lot of work to do. The playoffs are a different season, with teams developing different strategies and energy, so we must be physically and mentally prepared."
The City Oilers, who have already secured passage to the playoffs with two games left to spare, will head into familiar territory looking to retain their championship yet again.
