The second quarter ended even as the Warriors took a one-point lead to the halftime break.
The Warriors gained separation in the third quarter extending their lead to seven points.
The Celtics overcame seven points in the fourth quarter as a Jaylen Brown three-pointer forced overtime.
The overtime was back and forth but the Celtics were able to get the needed stops to secure a three-point victory.
Tatum vs Curry
The star match-up featured Jayson Tatum of the Celtics against Curry of the Warriors.
In 48 minutes of action, Tatum recorded 34 points, 19 rebounds, and six assists. Curry in 43 minutes, put up 29 points, seven assists, and four rebounds.

The victory sees the Celtics extend their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference with the best record in the league.
The Warriors on the other hand now have a losing record and drop to the play in spots in a jam-packed western conference.
