Ja Morant deletes Instagram and Twitter accounts after 2 game suspension by Memphis Grizzlies.

American professional basketball player Jamel "Ja" Morant has bagged a two-game NBA suspension.

In the early hours of Saturday, March 4, 2023, the 23-year-old point guard allegedly showed off a gun on his official Instagram account.

The Instagram live session by Morant came after the Memphis Grizzlies suffered a loss away to the Denver Nuggets in a Western Conference top-of-the-standings matchup.

The video of Morant showing off the gun and topless women dancing in the background went viral.

Mike Bass spokesman of the NBA confirmed that the league were aware of the viral video and launched an investigation.

The statement by the NBA said, “We are aware of a social media post involving Ja Morant and are investigating.”

A police report recently came out that in 2022, during a pickup basketball game, the NBA superstar punched a 17-year-old boy.

In the Grizzlies game against the Houston Rockets, Morant responded to the report by performing a gun celebration.
