Los Angeles Lakers beat Indiana Pacers 123-109 to become the winners of the first-ever NBA In-season tournament.
The first-ever NBA in-season tournament came to an end in Vegas where the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Indiana Pacers 123-109 to win the final.
Anthony Davis scored 41 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers to victory on the night but it was LeBron James who got the recognition as the MVP for his superb contributions throughout the entire tournament.
Davis also registered 20 rebounds, five assists and four blocks, while MVP LeBron James contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds on the night to seal the win.
Austin Reaves scored 28 points off the bench for the Lakers, while Tyrese Haliburton and team-mate Bennedict Mathurin led the scoring for the Pacers with 20 points each.

After becoming the first-ever MVP of the NBA In-season tournament, 38-year-old LeBron James was proud of his achievement and had this to say.
"Records will be broken but one thing that will never be broken is being the first to do something," said LeBron while his team celebrated the inaugural NBA Cup.
LeBron continued, "We're the first champions of the in-season tournament and nobody can ever top that. It's great to be able to do it with such a historical franchise and even better to do it with a great, great cast of funny, engaged, competitive men over here."
