According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the Phoenix Suns and Nigerian basketball player Josh Okogie have come to terms on a new contract.
After the Suns acquired Kevin Durant in a trade, Okogie played a significant role in their success, serving as their fifth starter throughout the regular season.
Now that he's back, he'll play for the Suns for at least another season and could start again.
In his debut season with the Suns, he participated in 72 games in all, starting 26 of them.

On 39/34/72 splits for the year, he averaged 7.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.8 SPG, and 0.5 BPG.
The Phoenix Suns lack depth beyond Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal, so Okogie and his perimeter defense will be essential to the squad.
Chimezie Metu joins Phoenix Suns
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Nigerian-American professional basketball player Chimezie Metu signed a one-year contract with the Phoenix Suns, which is a significant loss for the Kings' depth in the frontcourt.

The 26-year-old forward began his career with the San Antonio Spurs and played three seasons in Sacramento.
Metu has demonstrated his importance when given the chance, despite the fact that his playing time was limited last season.
Last season, Chimezie Metu's playing time decreased to just 10.4 minutes per game as he fought Alex Len for the role of backup center.
The Phoenix Suns signed Chimezie Metu in the hopes that he can add much-needed depth to a thin roster, most likely taking minutes from a backup big man.
