The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers for the second straight game 114-102 to go up 2-1 in the series.
The Sixers lost to the Celtics again to go 2-1 down in the series and star man Joel Embiid shared his thoughts on the two defeats.
“I thought at the end of the first half, we kind of started playing the right way,” said Embiid.
“I wouldn’t say that to start the game, they jumped on us and made a lot of threes. We were able to calm down, get a few stops, and get back in the game.”
“One of the biggest keys of the game was loose balls, 50-50 balls, just every single time they just kept getting them and would make a three and change the whole momentum,” Embiid explained.
“That end of the third quarter, we missed a bunch of wide-open threes. They came back every single time and scored."
The two teams will meet on Sunday for Game 4 and the Sixers will know they have to win to avoid being in an even deeper hole.
