The basketball great helped Team USA to a dramatic gold at Paris 2024, defeating France 98-87 in a classic final at the Bercy Arena.

Three-time Olympic gold medallist LeBrown James has said he's going to be a role model on the basketball court ahead of playing alongside his son Bronny in the NBA 2024-25 season.

James believes his legacy is already secured ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season that serves off on October 22.

The 39-year-old Los Angeles forward who is also the League's all-time top scorer said he has nothing left to prove on the basketball court but is excited to start his 22nd season on a high.

"Is there anything left for me to accomplish as a basketball player? No," he told reporters during a training session as quoted by Reuters.

"Everything else is extra credit. I'll take it though. I love it. I love what I do. But I've got everything."

James, who turns 40 in December, will have 19-year-old Bronny for company after he was selected with the 55th pick of this year's NBA draft. "I'm going to lead by example. I'm going to lead with my voice. My voice is my commanding," he said.
