The Golden State Warriors have decided not to sign veteran centre Dwight Howard according to The Athletic.
It is expected that the Warriors will remain flexible about signing a big man later in camp or during the regular season after Howard spent two days with them this week, including a workout with Draymond Green and Chris Paul on Thursday in Los Angeles.
In the coming week, Howard is expected to speak with any other teams interested in his return to the league.
The 37-year-old last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season with the Lakers, averaging 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
