Adebayo and Vincent play well but the Miami Heat dropped game 2 to New York Knicks.

Without their star player Jimmy Butler for Game 2, the Miami Heat were vulnerable, and the New York Knicks capitalized. 

In a contest that was back and forth from the moment the ball was tipped, the Knicks prevailed at Madison Square Garden, 111-105. 

It all came down to the Knicks' crucial fourth-quarter surge, during which they outscored the Heat 12 to 3 and were capped by Jalen Brunson's three-pointer with 4:05 remaining to give New York the lead. 

In order to defeat a Miami club without Jimmy Butler and tie their Eastern Conference semi-final series at one game each, Jalen Brunson scored 30 points and led the New York run.

After missing Game 1 due to a sprained left ankle, Julius Randle returned with 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. 

For the No. 5 seeded Knicks, RJ Barrett scored 24 points, while Josh Hart finished with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists.

The greatest plays were made by Brunson in a game the hosts trailed for the majority of at Madison Square Garden.

For the Heat, Caleb Martin scored 22 points in Butler's place, and Max Struc added 17 points.

Gabe Vincent continues red hot streak

Nigerian professional basketball player Gabe Vincent was in fine form for the Heat in the loss to the Knicks.

He recorded 21 points, five assists, and two rebounds in 41 minutes of action.

Vincent made seven of his 17 shots, was four of 12 from three-point range, and a perfect three from the free throw line.

American professional basketball player of Nigerian descent Femi Adebayo also had a big game.

Adebayo put up 15 points, eight rebounds, one block and six assists in 39 minutes of action.

The Heat will be hoping to have Butler, the playoffs' top scorer who missed the second game after spraining his right ankle late in their Game 1 victory.
