American professional basketball player Damian Lillard has hinted at a change of direction in his career.
The 32-year-old was drafted by selected by Portland Trail Blazers as the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft.
Since he joined, Lillard has been the franchise player for the Portland Trail Blazers and led them on several deep playoff runs.
His last major run was getting to the western conference finals in 2019 only to lose to a Steph Curry-led Golden State Warriors.

In the new freestyle rap song, Lillard gave a hint about his future in the NBA.
In the snippet of the Heaven or Hell freestyle, Lillard started that there is interest from the Lakers.
The Portland Trail Blazers are among the bottom teams in the Western Conference.
With the Portland Trail Blazers eliminated from the playoffs after the regular season for the second year in a row, Lillard may be set for a new move.
In the part where he talked about the Lakers, Lillard suggested that the purple and gold team may be the best part for him to win an NBA championship.
Lillards lyrics on the Lakers said, "Plotting on a ring they say I should do the Lakers.
He also referenced Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller who did not leave the team and ended up without a ring.
Lillards lyrics about Miler said, "F*ck that loyal sh*t. What if Reggie [Miller] just left the Pacers?"
Lillard a seven-time All-Star also stated that his album is on the way and expected to drop before the start of the new season.

An NBA championship is missing from an outstanding resume and his latest lyrics suggest a departure from the Portland Trail Blazers and teaming up with basketball superstar LeBron James on the Lakers this summer.
