FKF Premier League club AFC Leopards have visited Tanzanian football giants Yanga with Simba next as they seek to learn how to effectively trsntion into a coroprate model of governance.
AFC Leopards' taskforce that is seeking views on how to transform the club into corporate model in on a tour of Tanzania for benchmarking at the country's giants Yanga and Simba, who have transitioned semalessly.
The Vincent Shimoli-led AFC Leopards taskforce met with Yanga president Hersi Said on Thursday, seeking to gain lessons from their regional counterparts.
"The leadership of AFC Leopards led by their Chairman Dan Shikanda have visited Young Africans SC with the aim of learning the operating system of our Club. The tour of this training has started today under our President Eng. Hersi Said with his executives and it will take two days," revealed a post shared by Yanga's Instagram account.

AFC Leopards striker Sydney Lokale receives Harambee Stars call up
AFC Leopards new signing Sydney Lokale has been handed a call up to the national team ahead of AFCON qualifier fixture against Cameroon.
Leopards are looking to change the management structure of the club by shifting from a community-based model to a corporate entity. The transition aims to attract external investors to contribute resources to the club.
The task force is also poised to conduct a three-month civic education campaign from October to December, engaging Leopards’ members and stakeholders.

'They merit it' - Gor Mahia team manager pleased with Harambee Stars call-ups
Gor Mahia have had five players called up to the national team ahead of Kenya's crucial double-header against Cameroon and their team manager feels it is merited.
The taskforce will hold a retreat in January next year to create a detailed plan for the desired governance structure.
The plan will then be presented to the club’s members at the Annual General Meeting for approval before it is implemented.
