Olympic champion Noah Lyles faces a bold challenge from NFL star Tyreek Hill sparking excitement over a potential race.

Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill has long been revered as one of the fastest players in the NFL.

But now, the electrifying wide receiver has set his sights on a new challenge: a race against one of the world's premier sprinters, Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles.

Hill, who has never been shy about his extraordinary abilities, made waves recently with his bold claim during an interview on the "Up and Adams Show."

The NFL star, whose speed has become legendary on the football field declared that he is not worried of getting into the blocks with the 100m Olympic champion.

“I would beat Noah Lyles [in a race]. I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles," he said.

After clinching gold in the men’s 100-meter event at the Paris Olympics with a blistering time of 9.784 seconds, Lyles voiced his thoughts on American sports figures being dubbed "world champions," specifically questioning the NBA's use of the title.

Hill, never one to back down from a challenge, was quick to respond, positioning himself as a worthy competitor to the Olympic sprinter.

Hill’s confidence is not without merit as before his NFL stardom, the Miami Dolphins receiver was a standout in track and field.

In high school and junior college, Hill’s speed was already turning heads.

He once clocked an impressive 9.98 seconds in the 100-meter dash while competing in junior college—a time that would hold its own among elite sprinters.

Hill also secured a bronze medal in the 200 meters at the World Junior Championships in 2012 further proving his credentials on the track..

Noah Lyles, on the other hand, is not just any sprinter.

With a gold medal and a personal-best time under 9.8 seconds, he stands among the elite in track and field.

For now, fans can only speculate, but the potential for an epic clash between these two titans of speed is enough to keep the conversation buzzing.

After all, when Tyreek Hill says, “I would beat Noah Lyles,” the sports world listens.
