'I don’t feel like I have made it yet'- Julien Alfred fires warning shots to Sha'Carri Richardson & Co
Olympic champion Julien Alfred aims to continue her dominance in the 2025 season as she seeks to surpass competitors like Sha'Carri Richardson, Gabby Thomas and Shericka Jackson.
“It is incredible that the next Olympic Games are on home soil. I cannot wait to be able to represent our country at home. It’s been so much fun to do it here in Paris, but to be able to compete for your country, in the country, in LA, is going to be such an amazing feeling,” Gabby Thomas said.
“I know we’ll have so much pride and people will be so excited to be there and celebrate us. It’s hard not to look ahead… but I’m definitely looking forward to that,” she added.
However, before the 2028 Olympic Games, Gabby Thomas has a huge task ahead of her, to impress at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

Kenyan 200m sprinter reveals bold strategy to achieve ultimate target - 'I will break the 200m record'
Chege wants to change the 200m Kenyan narrative by running sub-20 seconds next season.
Having been crowned a triple Olympic champion already, Gabby Thomas will be out to achieve the same feat at the World Championships next season, with a lot of competition standing in her way to making history.
At last year’s World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, she won a silver medal in the women’s 200m, crossing the finish line behind Shericka Jackson who had to pull out of the Olympic Games due to an injury.
She went on to aid Team USA to win a gold medal in the women’s 4x100m relay team and heading to Tokyo, she will be out to improve on her silver medal and hopefully compete in the 4x400m and 4x100m relay races just like she did at the Olympics.
