Mary Moraa has once again struck the internet with a heartwarming photo of herself and her 'bestie' Sha'Carri Richardson as she sent a stark warning to her rivals ahead of the Diamond League Meeting final in Brussels.

Reigning world 800m champion Mary Moraa has once again flaunted her friendship with Sha’Carri Richardson after they both triumphed at the Diamond League Meeting in Zurich.

After the meeting, Moraa shared a heartwarming photo with her ‘bestie’ and was over the moon as they had both bounced back from Olympic heartbreak to claim dominant wins in their respective races.

In the women’s 800m, the Commonwealth Games champion was classy as she won the race, clocking a stunning 1:57.08 to cross the finish line ahead of Georgia Bell and Addison Wiley who finished second and third in respective times of 1:57.94 and 1:58.16.

In the women’s 100m, the reigning world champion was flawless as she claimed the win, clocking 10.84 seconds ahead of Olympic champion Julien Alfred who clocked 10.88. Dina Asher-Smith completed the podium, clocking 10.89 seconds.

Sharing her excitement, Moraa posted a photo of herself and Richardson on her Facebook page, captioning it: “Yes buddy...we bounced back like we never left.”

At the Paris Olympic Games, Moraa and Richardson were favourites to win their respective races but failed to live up to the billing. Richardson finished second behind Alfred who made history for her country St. Lucia.

On her part, Moraa rounded up the podium in the race won by Keely Hodgkinson with Ethiopia’s Tsige Duguma finishing second in the race.

Meanwhile, Moraa and Richardson have always shared close relations with the former showering the American with praises and love every time they meet. Before the Diamond League Meeting in Eugene, Oregon, Moraa shared a video dancing to a Kenyan gospel song with Richardson.

“Here we go again with my bestie…Sha’Carri Richardson much love. A dance before the real dance with Sha’Carri Richardson,” she said at the time.
