Kenyan athletes were spotted in Iten, donning the kits from a Chinese company Li Ning, a move that has elicited mixed reactions from track and field fans.

Recent photos of Kenyan athletes training in Iten wearing kits from a Chinese shoe company Li Ning have left netizens in shock.

It's so bad.”

Steve Mraba was also not in agreement with having Kenyan athletes wear the kits but was okay with them wearing the shoes. He said: “Let them test the shoes, that top is a no. That is a falling vest.”

Alex Rono said: “This is good for speed workouts. If you know, you know it,” with another comment coming from Cheruiyot Willy, saying: “This should be banned completely and attire maker must be arrested.”
