Reflecting on her journey, Hall revealed her mixed emotions in an interview with Athletics Weekly.

Her ambitious drive was clear, but the outcome fell short of her lofty expectations as she shared her heartbreak over missing the podium but also acknowledged the hard work and perseverance that defined her season.
“I mean that was our expectation and I'm proud of the way I competed, disappointed with the situation. But those are the cards I was dealt. I was heartbroken about that part, but I know I did the best I could.”
The year was further complicated by a knee injury that Hall sustained early in the season.
The injury required surgery adding another layer of adversity to her Olympic preparation.
