Two-time world 200m champion Noah Lyles, multiple Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah, Olympic silver medallist Kenny Bednarek and former world 100m champion Fred Kerley lead stacked fields for the USTAF New York City Grand Prix to take place at the Icahn Stadium on Sunday, June 9.
The athletes will be hoping to have a great build up to the Paris 2024 Olympics but millions have also been set aside for the fop finishers in the event.
Lyles will be making his season debut in the 200m with Thompson-Herah looking to have a great come back following her disappointing finish at the Prefontaine Classic, the Diamond League Meeting in Eugene.

American sprint legend Justin Gatlin has weighed in on Elaine Thompson-Herah's poor start to the season at the Prefontaine Classic.
Bednarek has enjoyed a great season, striking with world leads in most of his races while Kerley will be looking for a comeback. He withdrew from the Stockholm Diamond League following an injury setback.

As per World Athletics, the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold Level Meetings will offer two levels of prize money per discipline, either US Dollars 15, 000 (about Ksh 2 million) or US Dollars 10, 000 (about Ksh 1.4 million).
It was further noted that a minimum of eight disciplines (which must include the HT) must offer US Dollars 15, 000 and a minimum of 6 disciplines must offer US Dollars 10, 000 in prize money.

Noah Lyles has sent a stark warning to his track rivals following his first 100m loss of the season to Jamaican wunderkind Oblique Seville.
The event will also award the top eight finishers of the race, with the winner in the core events having to walk away with Ksh 651,250 with the second and third-place finishers bagging Ksh 390,750 and Ksh 260,500.
The athletes who finish fourth and fifth in the race will walk away with Ksh 182,350 and Ksh 156,300 respectively. In the additional events, the winners of the race will pocket Ksh 455,875, with the athletes who finish second and third having to pocket Ksh 260,500 and Ksh 182,350.
